The Glass House is a new champagne bar that has opened in Newcastle city centre.
Located on Dean Street, which is central to many of Newcastle’s nightlife locations including the Quayside, Diamond Strip and Grey Street, the Glass House offers a great relaxed vibe and a modern and contemporary decor.
Offering a wide array of drinks, its specialties include premium whiskeys, cocktails, beers, wines and champagnes, which can be complemented with small plates of cheeses, desserts and charcuterie boards. The bar also boasts a cigar and whiskey lounge – the first of its type in Newcastle.
I really enjoy the Glass House due to its relaxed surroundings and visit it regularly, quite often to take advantage of the 2 for £7 cocktail offer, which is available seven days a week before 7pm. What’s more, the Glass House runs a regular calendar of events, which includes performances from acoustic singers and previous X Factor contestants.
I would highly recommend the Glass House for those looking for somewhere special to visit for a drink or some snacks.
