My Winter Wardrobe - Fashion Blog Newcastle

Can you believe it’s September!? Where has this year gone! I was so disappointed yesterday when I finally succumbed to wearing a jumper and coat, as well as putting the heating on in my office. This has prompted me to start planning my winter wardrobe!

I’ve had a fantastic August and have some really exciting posts lined up to share. I’ve spent some time doing further training in advanced makeup techniques and have some really good products and tutorials to post – possibly via video as I’m finally going to start using YouTube.

Back to September and the autumn, I actually enjoy wearing my winter clothing and decided to make my first seasonal shopping trip last night (they don’t happen often) where I bought this beautiful red Canada Goose jacket from Cruise. I’ve had my eye on this for quite a while and I absolutely love it. We are currently planning a trip to see the Northern Lights soon so this will be absolutely perfect.

I have also purchased another one of my favourite Louis Vuitton scarves. I already have this in red but was struggling to find this in a lighter colour so I was delighted a few weeks ago when the Leeds store finally had it back in stock. I live in scarves in the winter so can’t wait to start wearing this.

One of my other purchases was this pair of (faux) leather trousers – another item I have been trying to buy for a long time. I originally saw these trousers on Zara’s website however the sold out so fast I didn’t manage to get a pair. After searching the internet, I managed to find a pair on Ebay and I absolutely love them. They fit perfectly too!

Finally, my favourite Mulberry boots are now officially out for the season. I bought these last year but still absolutely love them. They are so comfortable and have fantastic grip for wear in the ice.
I have so much planned in September and I’m very excited for the month ahead. I am going down to do some further advanced training with Makeup by HD Brows as I’ve decided to become an accredited artist for them, meaning I have access to their collection for use when I’m doing makeup for my clients. I will also be able to offer the full range to my makeup and bridal customers which is very exciting.
I’ve also booked a last minute trip to Dubai in a few weeks to visit my friends out these. I’m traveling over on my own direct from Newcastle but have plenty planned once there so I’m very excited. I am working seven days a week at the moment so it will definitely be a well earned break!
